Visual timeline of device availability, with pinch-to-zoom and compare.

Overview​

Timeline shows devices on a time axis, making it easy to see when a device was first released, when it was discontinued, and how lineups overlap.

Table Of Contents​

The timeline is a scroll view that supports:

  • Vertical scrolling (more devices)
  • Horizontal scrolling (more years/half-years)
The grid includes year labels and half-year markers (H1/H2).
Scroll vertically to browse more devices.
Scroll horizontally to explore different years.
Horizontal scrolling continues across the timeline.
The current time is shown with a vertical now line when in range.
Device bars show availability ranges.
Use scroll indicators to keep orientation when navigating.

Zoom​

Use pinch-to-zoom to change how wide each time column is. When zoomed, a Reset Zoom button appears in the top-right corner.

Selecting A Device​

Tap a device bar to open a detail card showing:

  • First release date
  • Discontinued date (or ongoing)
  • Availability period
Tap a bar to open the detail card. Use X to close.

Compare From Timeline​

From the detail card, tap Compare to open the Comparison tool with the selected device preloaded.

Notes And Limitations​

  • Timeline is based on Lirum's device database (not a live scan).
  • Loading time depends on device/database size; a loading overlay may appear while data is prepared.
